We are currently looking for a Planner.  Under general supervision the Planner ensures work orders, material requirements and general planning duties are administered.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Production work order entry, processing and closing
  • Prepare and update planning & materials requirements
  • Miscellaneous data entry, record processing, filing and other duties as required
  • Act as point of contact for sales and engineering on production lead-time
  • Work with production scheduling and deadlines

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Regular and predictable attendance is required, must be available for month end closing
  • Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Possess high degree of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication, math and multi-tasking skills required
  • Works well independently and as a team member
  • 3+ years experience in electronics planning environment
  • Prior experience of Syspro Database is a plus

Position Description – IT Administrator

The IT Administrator will be the primary support person for all service desk requests and provide a timely solutions. As a member of the IT team, the administrator will collaborate and support a variety of implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and project management functions while always keeping customer service as a top priority.   

Primary Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide timely resolution of service desk request for all users of corporate IT systems
  • Management, support, and execution of local network and server environment
  • Project support and lead for internal and global projects for Lindsay Corporation as a whole
  • Planning, implementation, and ongoing support of all aspects of the corporate IT infrastructure
  • Security implementation, maintenance, and verification testing for all aspects of the corporate IT infrastructure
  • Configure, install, troubleshoot, and repair workstation hardware, software, and mobile

Secondary Roles & Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of IT experience
  • Experience supporting corporate IT systems, enterprise applications, and users
  • Skilled in firewall configuration and management
  • Networking experience
  • Knowledgeable in Windows server and AD administration
  • Experience management Hyper-V virtual servers
  • Proven ability to implement and manage endpoint security
  • Ability to configure, install, troubleshoot, and repair workstation hardware, software, and mobile computing devices
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (VLAN, switching, routing, VPN, etc …)
  • Strong technical / end-user support skills, including the configuration / deployment and support of IT devices including workstations, mobile devices, copiers, printers
  • Experience with use and support of MS-Windows and standard desktop applications
  • Strong conceptual knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley, ITIL, and ISO 27002 framework

We have an exciting opportunity for a Jr. Software Tester to join our Olathe, KS Engineering team. The Jr. Software Tester will be responsible for testing the company’s IoT software. The IoT software is critical to the operation of Elecsys’ applications and products. This position works closely with the Engineering team that develops the software used by our clients. 

 Responsibilities 

  • Follow testing guidelines of QA and Software departments
  • Use internally developed tools to implement test suites
  • Design and develop new software tests
  • Gain knowledge of all products

 Qualifications 

  • The ideal candidate will be a logical thinker who is a hard worker with a good attitude
  • Ability to think in terms of logical procedures and steps
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Ability to execute tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to learn scripting procedures used by test tools
  • Ability to document progress through checklists using MS-Excel.
  • Ability to anticipate common software errors a plus
  • Software writing skills a plus, but not required

The Product Support Technician will work directly with customers to help resolve any Hardware or Software issues regarding operation and maintenance of remote monitoring products and ruggedized hand-held computers. The position also requires travel to customer’s sites to install equipment and troubleshoot problems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • After a training period, travel will be required to perform installs and troubleshoot problems in the field.
  • Answer incoming calls from customers concerning technical support issues in a professional, polite, and courteous manner then provide prompt resolution.
  • Follow up all requests in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Strong PC skills with Database Programs, MS Word, Excel.
  • Maintain diplomacy when addressing escalated matters.
  • Interact with the engineering and production departments to improve product reliability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • AA Degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent military training or experience is required.
  • Tech Support experience is preferred.
  • Superior interpersonal skills for dealing with customer problems.
  • Experience in the test, troubleshooting and repair of digital and analog circuits is preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel as required.
  • Must be a self starter that is persistent in meeting deadlines and working on their own.
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Master’s degree preferred
  • 10 years of experience in business development and/or product management
  • 5-10 years of managing direct reports and building teams
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Possesses business acumen and profound understanding of market dynamics
  • Experience building and managing product lines and achieving financial results in the technology sector
  • Demonstrated ability to hire and lead high-performing product management and business development teams
  • Expert in data analysis and interpretation
